WinSnap is a screen capturer with powerful features. Unlike other similar programs, WinSnap can take screenshots with additional details such as shadows, reflections, watermarks, and others. Each of these features can be configured to your liking, for example, the color of the shadow, the angle of rotation, image or text for watermarks, etc.
Being a good screen capture program, it allows you to take screenshots from the program's interface, or using hot-key combinations (which can also be customized). Screenshots can be made in five modes: full screen, application, window, object, and region. Another nice feature is that the program lets you configure external applications for editing screenshots. Captured images can be automatically or manually saved in JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, or TIFF format.
The current version (3.1) includes some notable enhancements, for instance: the application is now fully compatible with Windows 7, it includes new translations of the interface (Armenian, Estonian, Persian, Vietnamese), and its "Clear Aero background under Vista and Windows 7" feature has been improved.
